Oh my gosh so I finally got my new camera, the Nikon D3300 and I'm ecstatic. I cannot believe the change in quality from 10.2 to 24+ Megapixels. Like wow. Just wow. HOWEVER. The agreement was this. I had to agree to go out once a week to take pictures. Next stop on Monday; the Experimental Farm. One of my coworkers Andrew works there for volunteer work every Monday so I'm going to pay him a visit. Also, another slew of pictures incoming. Dad and I also have to plan for my mom's return (it was her dad [Carl] that we lost and that my previous journal entry was about) and what we're going to do to help her remember her father.

Today is a sad day

...because the world lost an amazing man. Carl, my grandfather, passed in the company of family at the cottage he built. I'm happy to say that he went peacefully, and in the care of my family. Although I once again missed the chance to say goodbye to a long-loved grandparent, I believe he went knowing how deeply I care for him. I won't spam upload sad poems like I did for my grandmother - I will, however, ask that you all keep your loved ones close and make sure to say goodbye like it's the last time you'll see them each time you let them out of your sight.

I think I'm back. It's been a few years now and I finally got some good pictures. Unfortunately, I will no longer be uploading them unless there is an ugly watermark and I will no longer be uploading any of my writing. I'm also thinking of changing my username to CeciRS so keep your eye out for that. I'm also going to be deleting some of my older deviations that I think shouldn't be on DA such as pictures of my friends. Only because I don't feel like they are very artistic. I'll leave up most of my old ones so my progression will be visible to those who wish to see it, but some will go down. I'm leaving my writing up although it has been stol
